I am really pleased to be going to the screening of ‘The Shaman’ at the UK Premier at London Sci-Fi Film Festival at the end of the month. The Shaman just had a successful outing at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York with lots of talk about its’ originality and the excellent special effects,  so I can’t wait to see what everybody thinks about the film in London. Catch it if you can. http://sci-fi-london.com/festival/2015/programme/short/programme-4 2:00pm – Sun, 31st May 2015 8:50pm – Thu, 4th Jun 2015   Written and Directed by Marco Kalantari  and shot in Austria and Iceland it...

BBCiPlayer http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05ns9lx I have to admit that I had my doubts about this production at the beginning. The plot did not seem to be getting anywhere, and director Gaynor MacFarlane’s use of a narrator commenting on the characters’ behavior seemed more intrusive than dramatically satisfying. Yet perhaps sometimes it’s wise to stay with...

BAFTA AWARDS – MAY 10TH 2015

Have you voted for your favourite drama yet.  I am voting for The Missing, well yes,  I am biased. You can vote on the Television Awards Radio Times Audience Award link below from their website.  What did you love about The Missing? It was superbly written with a show-stopping performance by James Nesbitt. I’ve always believed he’s one of the great actors of his time and this series more than proved it. There hasn’t been a more intense or convincing performance on television all year. In fact, in many a long year. Why do you think it was so popular? It clearly tapped...
